Our Benefits at a Glance

Aveshka is a great place to work and offers a robust benefits package to employees, including the various plans and coverages explained below. Many of our benefits require no waiting period.

  • Medical Insurance — Offering three medical options through CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Aveshka offers BluePreferred PPO, BlueChoice HMO and BluePreferred HDHP PPO plans. 
  • Dental Insurance — Provided by Guardian.
  • Enhanced Vision Insurance — Basic vision coverage is provided by CareFirst for all employees enrolled in an Aveshka medical plan.  For employees seeking enhanced vision coverage, Aveshka offers coverage provided by Guardian leveraging the Vision Service Plan (VSP) network.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) / Leave — Includes 15 days PTO annually, with ability to accrue additional PTO based on tenure. In addition, 10 paid holidays per year, as well as paid and/or unpaid leave for jury duty, witness leave, military leave of absence, bereavement leave, and voting leave. 
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan — Provided by Slavic 401k / Fidelity Funds Platform, includes opportunity to contribute on both a pre-tax (401k) and post-tax (Roth) basis to create a truly customized retirement plan. In addition, Aveshka provides access to Series 6 and Series 7 Licensed Investment Advisors to help employees navigate the complexities of retirement and financial planning at no cost to the employee.
  • Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance — Administered by Guardian, provides all full-time employees with 1X annual earnings life and AD&D insurance up to $50,000, at no cost to the employee.
  • Short-Term Disability — Aveshka provides all full-time employees with short-term disability coverage at no cost to the employee.  Short-term disability will cover the employee on the 15th day that the employee misses work due to a non-work related injury.  Short-term disability coverage pays 60% of average earnings up to $2,500 per week.  Short-term disability coverage is available to all full-time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours or more per week.
  • Long-Term Disability — Aveshka provides all full-time employees with long-term disability coverage at no cost to the employee.  Long-term disability will cover the employee on the 91st day that the employee has missed work due to illness and/or injury.  Long-term disability coverage pays 60% of average earnings up to $10,000 per month up to the Social Security Normal Retirement Age.  Long-term disability coverage is available to all full-time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours or more per week.
  • Voluntary Life Insurance — Administered by Guardian, Aveshka offers optional life insurance coverage that employees can purchase for themselves and their families.
  • Health & Wellness Program — Aveshka provides employees $35.00 per month toward a qualified Health and Wellness program or gym membership with proof of membership.
  • Employee Assistance Program — Aveshka provides access to Masters level professional counselors through the Aveshka Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administered by WorkLifeMatters. Additionally, employees are provided a free confidential hotline to consult with licensed professionals for counseling, support and referrals.
  • Commuter Reimbursement Account — Through Ameriflex, Aveshka provides the ability for employees to pay for eligible commuter expenses (metro, bus, parking, et. al.) with pre-tax dollars.  
  • TRICARE Supplement — Administered by SelmanCo, this plan is available to employees and their families who enroll in the TRICARE Supplement Insurance plans.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts — Administered by Ameriflex, this program allows employees to pay for eligible healthcare and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars deducted from their paycheck.
  • Educational Assistance — Aveshka is dedicated to the continuous education and development of our team. The Aveshka Academy™ is the cornerstone of our commitment to create dynamic careers for our team, and offers an ever-evolving curriculum addressing a variety of functional areas from business development, to project management, and hands-on training for today’s hottest technologies. In addition, educational assistance is available toward a degree in an accredited college or toward pre-approved continuing education courses.
