Continuity of Operations Planning
Capacity & Availability Planning
This military intelligence organization came to Aveshka with an enterprise-level requirement for cost effective, scalable, resilient, and recoverable information systems. The organization’s leadership had concerns about a variety of specific gaps, beginning with a lack of D-level collaboration and prioritization of COOP (BC/DR). Additionally, capacity was neither planned nor scalable on its mission critical systems, and at risk due to insufficient recovery plans.
Aveshka led a collaborative, iterative process that delivered plans, processes, and procedures to support vital business continuity and capacity functions. Our team of IT and business continuity SMEs analyzed and optimized current systems and processes, and then integrated innovative COTS technologies to reduce potential business disruptions for critical systems.
Following our engagement, the client is experiencing greater performance and confidence in the availability of mission critical systems during disruptive events. With the associated risks to mission-essential functions identified and mitigated, the organization is better positioned to continue operations in the most adverse conditions.
